The Karabella Company was founded in 1993 by Berta Karapetyan. It quickly became a coveted resource of New York's top designers for developing knit collections. The clientele includes Donna Karan, Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren, TSE, Anna Sui, Gap, Banana Republic, Structure and Gabrielle Hamill. In 1999 Karabella launched a wholesale yarn division named Karabella Yarns led by Arthur Karapetyan, Berta's Son. Karabella Yarns produces their yarn in Italy at the best spinning mills working closely with famous designers to develop the color stories for each yarn every season. Karabella Yarns has quickly gained recognition for developing fashionable and easy to knit patterns. Karabella Yarns is located in the center of the fashion world, New York's Garment District. The company has rapidly become one of today's most innovative yarn importers, with a reputation for excellent service.
