Pamela Ann Davis has 40 years of pattern and product development experience in the SF Bay Area. During this time sheÍs worked as a patternmaker for many local companies such as LeviÍs/Dockers, Koret, Mycra Pac, Jessica McClintock & Nice Collective. In 1981 she started her own pattern & grading service, PPenguin Inc., where she collaborated with local Bay Area companies such as CPShades, Gap, Koret, Sweet Potatoes, Esprit and many more. Her experience with all these apparel companies gave her a deep knowledge base & exposure to many different types of fit. In 1998, Pamela went to work for MenÍs Dockers and learned their CAD system. She then took on a designing position at Mycra Pac in 2000. She left Mycra Pac in 2004 to freelance. Nice Collective was one of her freelance clients and they offered her a position to head their product development department. At the Nice Collective she expanded her experience with digital pattern making and related services. In 2010 Pamela decided to set up shop in her San Francisico loft located in the heart of the vibrant Inner Mission district. Pamela uses the Gerber system. Coupled with her vast experience as a hand pattern maker/grader, she offers her many clients a unique and realistic approach. Pamela is a talented and detail oriented resource and will be an asset to your apparel business.
